Conventional and complementary medicine in dialogue
The Krankenhaus für Naturheilweisen (KfN) in Munich made its task to treat its patients professionally and humanely in a comprehensive manner by combining guideline conventional medicine with established methods of complementary medicine, such as naturopathy and homeopathy. Unique treatment synergies can be created with this combination.
Especially the treatment of patients with chronic illnesses is still a great challenge for medicine. In addition to biochemical causes of an illness, other influencing factors play an additional role. Conventional medicine is the foundation of our treatments. The additional therapeutic effect of complementary medicine is based on the stimulation of the body's self-regulation. In doing so, the self-healing and regulating abilities are activated and an effective improvement of the discomforts is promoted.
It is our goal to treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses effectively and as best as possible. To this end, we create treatment concepts that are adjusted individually to the discomfort; guideline mainstream medicine is complemented with established naturopathic methods, e.g. the neural therapy. Another building block of our multi-modal treatment concept is the classical homeopathy, for which a comprehensive list of homeopathic medicines is available in the pharmacy of the KfN.
In the sense of "as well as", the patients benefit from the multi-modal treatment and can derive an additional advantage from it: the activation of self-healing abilities improves the treatment result for many patients - discomforts are alleviated, side effects are reduced, complications are prevented and the quality of life is increased.
