In addition, the KfN as a library, which is continuously expanded and updated. The collection of specialist literature on mainstream medicine, naturopathy and homeopathy includes approx. 4,000 medical monographies and journals and contains the third largest collection of homeopathic literature in Germany.
Since the KfN was founded as homeopathic hospital in 1859, the majority of the collection consists of works of the 19th century in German language and holds gems such as original copies on homeopathic literature from the times of its founder Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843).
Since 1991, the Münchner Homöopathie-Tage (Munich Homeopathy Days) are held in the hospital's own lecture theatre. This annual event has become a meeting point for colleagues working with homeopathic methods from all over the German-speaking region. The presenters come from different backgrounds and schools, such as Rajan Sankaran, Jan Scholten or Andreas Richter, and focus on current trends and developments in homeopathy.
