Integrative, Compassionate, Modern: Our Treatment Approach
Many of our patients come to us because purely conventional medical treatment alone has not yet achieved the desired success, or because an acute flare-up requires prompt treatment. This is precisely where we come in: We view each patient holistically and always in the context of their individual situation.
In both acute and chronic conditions, purely symptom-oriented treatments often reach their limits. That is why we combine conventional medical procedures with natural healing therapies.
Why Patients Choose Us:
Conditions We Can Help You With
We treat acute and chronic conditions from nearly all conventional medical disciplines.
Your Path to Us: How Do I Become an Inpatient?
Especially with chronic conditions, the path to appropriate treatment can feel burdensome and confusing. That is why we support you at every step—from initial contact to your stay at our clinic.
Inpatient admission to our clinic is subject to clear medical criteria. Admission is justified when:
- You suffer from a chronic condition and outpatient treatment options (e.g., with your general practitioner or specialist) have already been fully exhausted and/or
- You suffer from an acute internal medicine condition that requires short-term inpatient care.
In all cases, a referral from your general practitioner or specialist is required, or for privately insured patients, confirmation of cost coverage.
Please use our online tool medflex for your inquiry. After registration, you will have the option to contact us via chat.
You can use medflex on your desktop or download it as an app to your mobile device. You will of course also receive an email notification as soon as we have processed your inquiry.
In the next step, we will send you a patient questionnaire and inform you which documents we need from you. You will also receive further information and our optional services catalog, which includes comfort services. We ask that you send us the completed questionnaires and requested documents together. You can submit the documents digitally and securely via medflex.
Once we have received your complete documents, they undergo screening by our physicians. We review whether the statutory criteria for inpatient treatment are met and will then contact you with a proposed admission date.
Please come to our clinic for admission at the scheduled time. For organizational reasons, all inpatient admissions at KfN take place between 08:00 and 10:00. Unfortunately, admission after 10:00 is not possible, even if you have a long journey.
For admission, you should have the following documents or information ready:
- Referral from your general practitioner or specialist
- Insurance card from your health insurance or confirmation of cost coverage from your private health insurance
- Note: If you are a privately insured patient and cannot provide confirmation of cost coverage from your insurance, we generally reserve the right to admit you as a self-payer; in this case, an advance payment is required
- Identity card or passport
- if applicable, exemption from statutory co-payment for your inpatient stay
You are also welcome to refer to our packing list. You can find it here for download.
